TOWN OF WOLCOTT PUBLIC HEARING

 

The Council of the Town of Wolcott met Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 6 p.m., in the Community Room of the Wolcott Town Hall for a Public Hearing to hear comments, questions or objections to the proposed 2018 Budget.

 

Council Members Present

Council President, Michael A. Yelton; Council Vice President, Fred A. Young; and Council Members, Tina M. Orns, Michael J. Johnson and Stephen Schemerhorn

 

Others Present

Clerk-Treasurer Tammy L. Seward; Wastewater Superintendent Chad Reynolds; and Town Marshal James M. Herre. Also present were Vince Sommers of Commonwealth Engineers, Inc.; Tim Northern of Peerless Midwest, Inc.; Garmong Construction Services Vice President, Dan Zuerner, White County Economic Development President, Randy Mitchell; Barbara Lawson of The New Wolcott Enterprise, and Tri-County Jr./Sr. High School Seniors, Peyton Maxwell and Kaitlyn Peters.   

 

Clerk-Treasurer Tammy L. Seward presented the proposed 2018 Budget; and reminded Council and those present that the 2018 Budget Adoption meeting is Tuesday, October 3, 2017.

Council President, Michael A. Yelton then asked if there were any questions or comments from the audience regarding the proposed 2018 budget.  None were heard.

 

Council President, Michael A. Yelton entertained a motion to adjourn the 2018 Budget Public Hearing.  Council Member, Stephen Schemerhorn moved to adjourn the 2018 Budget Public Hearing. Council Member, Tina M. Orns seconded the motion; and the motion passed 4-0.

 

Council President, Michael A. Yelton then announced that the Council will now meet in regular session.
